Round Up the Change at Love’s this holiday season

Round up to help kids grow up!

This holiday season, Love’s Travel Stops across our area will be asking customers to round up their purchases to help kids treated at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Stopping at Love’s on your holiday travels and rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar is an easy way to change kids’ health and change the future in our community.

Customer donations gathered during this holiday season will help kids like Owen.  Owen was born 14 weeks early and suffered complications with his kidneys, lungs, and gallbladder.  But the most significant challenge was Owen’s nutrition.  At four months old, he became extremely sick.   Owen had emergency surgery where doctors discovered he had necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).  NEC is a life-threatening disease that causes bacteria to destroy the intestines.  After many surgeries and therapy services, including the CMN funded feeding clinic at Penn State Children’s Hospital Owen, has overcome many obstacles and is a happy 9-year-old boy who loves hockey, school, and bringing joy to others.

Thanks to Love’s Travel Stops and their generous customers, we can raise needed funds for Penn State Children’s Hospital and transform how we meet the most urgent needs, saving more lives and protecting our collective future.

When we change kids’ health, we change the future – for all of us.
