Meet Ida and Bill Lancaster: Parents of Love’s Miracle Child Samantha

Samantha Lancaster was a typical youngster when she fell twelve feet off of the playground equipment onto her back. The fall led to the discovery of a cyst in Samantha’s spinal cord and a brain malformation–both unrelated to her injury–that started the Lancaster family on a journey with The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center.

Today, Samantha is an active 9-year-old who was chosen to work with Love’s in 2016 as their Miracle Child. The Miracle Child program allows kids who brave the toughest battles at CMN Hospitals to act as ambassadors and inspire others to help make miracles happen.
