Love’s drives fundraising success during their 19th annual campaign!

Our friends at Love’s Travel Stops have had a busy month hosting their annual miracle balloon campaign, two-day celebration of National Coffee Day and countless other grassroots fundraisers. The passion and dedication of Love’s team members and customers was ever present across the entire country!

This year, one of our national Champions, Chloe, was the face of the Love’s campaign. Her dad is a professional truck driver—like so many of Love’s primary customers—and the campaign has extra meaning to Chloe’s family. Jason covers routes from the west to east coast. He utilizes the services offered at Love’s year-round, in part because of the help they provided his daughter and millions of other kids who have been cared for by CMN Hospitals.

Chloe was diagnosed with leukemia at age 5. Donations provided Chloe with a port for receiving oncology treatments and a vein finder machine that helped locate her veins when she received her initial diagnosis.

After more than two years of painful treatments, Chloe is now cancer-free. She visits the hospital for lab work every three months to ensure the cancer doesn’t return.

Initial totals are in and Love’s has already raised $3.2 million! This far exceeds their $3 million campaign goal, and puts them on track for a 25% increase from 2017, and record year worth celebrating!
