Creighton University Dance Marathon Raised More Than $68,000 for the Omaha Children’s Hospital

726 students at Creighton University stood For The Kids treated at the Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha; raising more than $68,000. These funds will go to help support the hospital’s quality of patient experience, and care for the families at the hospital.

During the event, students danced with the 15 Miracle Families at the event, cheered them on during family speakers, and had a blast with the kids in multiple activities while raising money for a fantastic cause. One of their features was the jail, where students could pay to have a child put a fellow student behind bars, with a small payment required to be released.

Part of the Miracle Network Dance Marathon Program since 2015, CUDM has helped sick and injured kids like Caiden Loose-Ives, receive the best care available. Team Caid has been with the program since their first year, and his family is an enthusiastic part of every Dance Marathon event.  The funds from CUDM has gone to helping Caid during his recovery from his multiple open heart surgeries, and to making the experiences in Omaha Children’s Hospital the best possible one for his family.

The event was made smoother with the support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals partner, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores. Love’s helped supply the lighting and effects that made the event unforgettable for our dancers and families.

Thank you to all the students at Creighton University who participated in Creighton University Dance Marathon for the Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha.
